So this has been this way for a while now, ever since version 8 was out and I upgraded. I had a heck of a time with getting the license installed but finally after messing with it for a few days I got it to work. However, it's not been quite right since.... It seems to say it's both version 7 and version 8. It's working and doing what it's supposed to (or so it seems) but something's just not quite right with the license. I'm going to be getting a much faster internet connection in a week or so and would like to get this squared away before that. I have some screen shots below showing what I mean:
Alright, update. Just because I could I set up another account and created a home license. The file looked good:

Start = 10/08/2010
Stop = 10/09/2013
but after I installed it I was told that Web Security was not licensed along with everything else in the file. I reverted to the backup I made just before this (glad I did that) and everything returned to 'normal' it seems. I feel like I'm missing something really obvious...
