Foxconn G41AP LGA 775 Intel G41 ATX or Gigabyte GA-P43-ES3G

My underpowered beige Astaro 7 box just died and it's time to build something with a little extra room.  I'd like something with 4 or 5 NICs so that I can separate my personal, kids, and research networks.  I found 2 boards that have 5 PCI slots but don't know how to tell if I even have a chance of it working.  I've had a little luck in finding posts about the ICH7 and a couple other traits, but I haven't seen anything definitive or whether they work with Astaro 8 better than with 7.

Does anyone have experience with these or something that will affordably fit my needs?
