v7.507 to v8

Hi,


I  tried to upgrade from v7.507 to v8.001 using up2date file downloaded,  error shown saying impossible to upgrade from 507 to 8001.... 


why?

    Currently, if you want to migrate to Version 8, you will need to do a clean install with the Version 8.000 (or, at this point, the 8.001) ISO, then restore your Version 7 backup to that install.  In-place upgrade will only be supported on official ASG Appliances, and will be coming in a month or so.

    Brucek, I read that the update you say had to be released on 15 of august... do you know why it has been delayed?
