Scheduled Up2Date not working in 8.000

Yesterday at around 10:00 I scheduled the install of the 8.001 update for later the same day (23:00) - see attached image.   This morning, I found that the update had not been applied, and still showed up as being scheduled for last night.  I had the same issue on 7.5xx prior to installing 8.000, but didn't look too deeply into the issue at the time.  I was surprised that it also didn't work last night on 8.000 -> 8.001.  I am using an ASG 110 with the 8.000 software appliance installed, and a home user license.

I've attached the Up2Date log from immediately after 23:00 last night.  I'm not sure if the messages I'm seeing include anything regarding my the scheduled Up2Date package install, or are just for pattern updates.  Either way, the 8.001 is not being applied.

Has anyone else seen this behaviour?  I did see another thread that mentioned the same problem under v7.x, but it didn't conclude with an answer as to what was wrong or whether it was resolved - it looked like a licensing issue could have been to blame, but my license is valid and on the new licensing model.

    Same Problem here:

    I had scheduled the 8.001 Update-Installation for 05:00 am and nothing happened?!?

    Here is a ASG 320 with Full Guard as HA-Cluster installed.


    On a ASG 220 with a schedules 7.507 up2date-installation i had no problems.

    Sounds like a bug.  Log files may prove otherwise, or I may be missing something about the intended behaviour, but based on my understanding of how the scheduled installs should work it does not appear to be functioning in my case.

    I still have this happening in 8.101.  I set mine up to do its install at 3am today and nope still showing as being scheduled to install at 3am.

    I've been running the ASG software on a server since early V7 on a home license. I've tried scheduling all updates since without success. When I did a fresh install for V8 I thought now it might work, unfortunatly not. This could be a great and simple feature.

    Does the scheduled install time have to fall within the "Time Event Definition" object, set by default to 21:00-23:00 ? I'll try this next time as my previous scheduled times may have been outside this window which may explain why they haven't run.
