what happens if you are over the license?

I have a quick question.  What happens to IPs that are over the license limit?  Are they blocked from going out to the Internet?  Are they slowed down?

I checked my Available IPs under the license and saw that 7 were over the limit.  When I check on a few of the the machines that were over the license limit nothing seems to be amiss.  I don't think I have that many nodes going out to the Internet either.  Don't know why it tells me 7.

  • I think Wingman is right.  If you want to figure out why some IPs show up even though they shouldn't ever go through the Astaro, make a temporary packet filter rule 'Internal (Network) -> Any -> Any : Allow' with logging and positioned at the top.  Check to see what services are being used by each IP, and where they are going.
