Astaro 8 - 64bit on HP DL360G7 - Red screen of death

After install, reboot and get a red crash screen - attached.

System:

DL360 G7 E5640, 6GB DDR3 RAM

2 x 146GB 6G SAS 15k HD (Raid1)

Tried 32-bit version, same screen on reboot.

Is this fixable or should I just give up and try a different server. Maybe I'll try 7.5......

David, This has been discussed here recently. Try looking at the last week of results for a google like: site:astaro.org hp server installation

Hi,
I think the Astaro 8.001 ISO should fix the GRUB problem in 8.000, but I'm not sure that's the same problem as here.

This could be a hardware problem; try memtest86 or similar.

Have you run other software sucessfully on this server?

I'm pretty sure I did use 8.001

And I will definitely search google for that phrase and see what comes up.

I just noticed that I used the links on the following page which hadn't been updated to 8.001

Thankfully now they seem to be broken... I went directly to the FTP and will try 8.001 and report back.
