Astaro v8 license questions

I am reading a lot about Astaro v8. I have some questions:
a) Is v8 still in beta stage?
b) Is it a mandatory upgrade from 7.5 to 8 to continue receiving latest updates?
c) I use a free home license. Will v8 continue to be available as free home user license like 7.5 or has something changed?

a) General release was 01 July.
b) 7.506 has been released since then. I'd guess they'll do one or two more, and that anti-virus and intrusion-prevention patterns will be kept uptodate for a long time.
c) V8 is in use right now by many home users posting here.

Thanks for your quick reply. Maybe I will continue to use 7.506 for few more months till I find time to upgrade.
