Breaking cluster...issues?

Alright, so i have two asg 425's in a Hot-Standby (active-passive) cluster. Id like to break it and remove node 2.

Are there any specific steps i should take to minimize any downtime or issues?

Any help or input is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

  • Not that I'm aware of... I believe you need to just log onto the master, and set the Clustering / HA selector to Off.  I believe the slave node goes into a "self-cleaning" mode and shuts down.
