swap near full, heavy RAM usage help

Hi all,
so i've not been into this fw cluster for several months and have found today that my swap disk is near full-98% of 1gb and RAM usage notification stating 90% or higher over past 7 days.  Have not been restarted in 1 year today and are running 7.404 (i know, its time to update). 
This is a Hot Standby with dual ASG 425s. 

Is there anything i can do now to alleviate some of this before i go ahead and update/restart this thing. I have to notify users of the maintenance and wait for a weekend.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Can you tell what the offending process is? In WebAdmin Support>Advanced>Process List Tab. 
     
    If you can narrow the issue down to a particular service, you can try disabling it, wait a minute or two to see if swap and mem usage go down, then re-enabling. Keep in mind that change of state for some services, like HTTP proxy, will disrupt connectivity for a short time.
     
    You definately will want to schedule some down time soon to do updates. In the 7.5x line, the current production version is 7.505, with 7.506 in early availability for manual download and install.  V8 was just released as well, but your best off sticking with 7.5x until you have time to research V8 and get caught up.  [:)]
