Cannot Get to Webadmin

Hello, I just finished installing Astaro and I'm trying to connect to webadmin. It says it is at https://192.168.2.100:4444/ but when I try to connect to it, firefox times out. I cannot ping it, and I cannot ping anything from the server. What is the problem here?

Actually your easiest option is to get rid of the router.  Unless your using it for some specific purpose, it is unnecessary at this point.  Astaro does routing among other things.

Internet---->Modem WAN port--->Astaro WAN Interface---->Astaro Lan Interface--->switch--->computers.

If your hanging onto the old router because it does wireless, there should be a configuration option to change it from a router into a simple Access Point.  If you do this, you can just assign it an IP on the local LAN and not have all of these multi-subnet and double-NAT issues.

while that would be the easiest, that is assuming he has gig interfaces on both the astaro and the client machine, if he doesnt have gig on both sides, it will require a crossover cable.

Good warning, Pirateghost.  Whereas it's true that most gig interfaces have auto-sensing, those on the Astaro appliances do not.  If you're running Astaro on a regular PC, check the documentation to see if you need a crossover cable to connect modem to Astaro.
