Best virtualization platform for my needs?

I am currently running the Astaro with vmware server on my home server running Ubuntu 8.04. It works well but...

I am getting tired on vmware server 2.0.2 because Firefox 3.6 is not longer working in the VMware Infrastructure Web Access. In Internet Explorer 64 bit (using Windows 7 64-bit) the console plug in does not work.

I cannot use vmware ESXi since the host is using a rocketraid card (RR2320) which ESXi does not support. I am also planning to use the host as a Mythtv backend. (ESXi cannot bypass PCI and PCI-e to the virtual guests)

Which free virtualization engine can replace vmware server?

The Internet Exploder issue is now solved by running the 32 bit version.

Is it possible to create a virtual network in Virtual box, which is only seen by two hosts, and not to the host? This is for my dmz network, between Astaro and my DMZ host.
