HELP - Realtek 8139 not detected on install

The HCL seems to indicate it is supported, but while my Realtek 8169 on the mobo was detected - this NIC was not.

I have a driver disk - can I just install the drivers on the 'Nix and configure Astaro to use it?

I have told the Astaro to use the mobo NIC as the "admin"/ LAN  interface.

So I would want the 8139 as the WAN GW.

It is a PCI - in a riser card of a small form factor PC. I believe it is located in slot one.

The riser & NIC are definately working - I was able to use them successfully under Windows B4 installing Astaro...

    welcome aboard.

    The ASG will not use the drivers that you supply.

    Does the install go through to completion?

    At this stage I am assuming you are a home user, so I would recommend you get the v8b (7.920), that has a greater range of drivers and some of the issues like that have been fixed.
    I used to suffer the same problem.
