Hi
I am just playing around with a SBS 2003 setup and ASG on my home network.
As the SBS is running AD, then it has to play the role of the primary DNS server with the ASG as the secondary server. However, is it better to use the built in windows DHCP server or the ASG.
The aim is to run the ASG as a transparent web proxy and firewall/internet gateway.
If running with the windows DHCP server, what settings do I need on the ASG?
If I'm running the DHCP on the ASG, then I know I can just set the SBS as the 1st dns server and the asg as the 2nd on the ASG. But is it possible to get the ASG to update DNS on the SBS as well.
Any help/basic instructions on the setup would be much appreciated.
Cheers
Andy
