Hope you're all well, I wonder if someone could help me, I've looked in this forum for other people having the same problem and I've come across 2 people who did but resolved it different ways, I've tried these ways but still no luck!
I've downloaded ASG 7.502 from the VMware Market Place and running it in VMWare Player 3.0. the image seems to boot up no problem, but I can't seem to access the web interface to start/complete the initial configuration. Once the image boots is stops at:
192.168.0.1
login:
I've logged in as root and configured a password. By looking at other threads I've tried to make sure that both ASG and the VMWare Interface are are within the same subnet mask, which they are, here is the result of the ifconfig command in ASG

My Personal LAN is the 192.168.1.X range, 1 being the Router and DHCP address being issued from 50 upwards. As the subnet masks on both networks are 255.255.255.0 I can't see how they would conflict so I'm guessing it's not that
I've tried changing the VMWare adapters to hosts only but that didn't work
the VMware Image came with 3 Bridged networked adapters
I hope someone can help!
