ips still blocking?

Ok I have been reading the post and following the instructions we are still unable to access the internet when ips is activated? I believe we have the most current pattern version "12415" is that the most current version? I was at 12414 this morning....any ideas?

    Had the same here.... Then I disabled both rules 15861 and 16576 within the IPS as Mr. Hansen described in his post https://community.sophos.com/products/unified-threat-management/astaroorg/f/52/t/27435

    The trick was to wait till ips-rules were updated to u2d-ips-7-173. You can check this with the command

    rpm -q u2d-ips

    as root at the console...

    After the updated was applied in my box I removed the 2 disabled rules in webadmin and everything runs now again like a charme. 

    As other posters pointed out, Astaro dosn't download any updates not in use - which means that as long as ips is disabled, it won't download new ips-rules to update the broken ips-package.

    OK, I was a little concerned about the fact that my box currently does not receive any updates for clamav, but as long as the avira updates are working, I currently do not care to much about it.
