asg220 backup/restore

Hi,

I have 2 ASG220's running 7.306, one configured one fresh install. I want to take the backup from the configured ASG and apply it to the fresh install. Once the backup has been restored I never get a reply to ping on any interface on the expected ip's from the backup, or the default ip, what am I doing wrong?

Do you get a response to a ping to the original 220? Have you checked the 'ICMP' tab in 'Packet Filter' to be sure ICMP and ping options are selected?

Did you flush the ARP Cache in your PC?
arp -d

This is now working, I think as ch-hunn said it was arp cache related. Thankyou for your prompt replies, I am now having issues with pptp but will create a seperate thread in the right location for that [:)]
