adding NIC for DMZ

Hi

I've installed ASG on a computer that currently holds 2 NICs, one for the LAN and one for the WAN. I now have to setup a DMZ and therefore my intention was to ass a 3.rd NIC that will be used for my DMZ network. Are there any special considerations that I must think about, or is it as simple as shut down the server, install the new NIC, boot up, add the NIC in ASG and configure the firewall rules? The existing rules will not by affected by adding the new NIC?

    You will need to reinstall to have the NIC recognized- download a couple of backups from the Astaro to your workstation, power down the Astaro, add the NIC(s), reinstall and restore.

    There are some unsupported tricks floating around the forums for getting NICs installed without reinstalling, but your results may be less than ideal.
