Astaro not recognising NIC

I've just done a 7.52 install on 'new' hardware. The installer recognises both NICs and sets up the internal (admin) connection correctly. When I try to set up the uplink connection there's no NIC available.

Running ifconfig on the base OS shows both NICs correctly.

I can't even add it with the 'new interface' in the admin screen.

In case it was a hardware issue I swapped out the card and reinstalled - same problem.

Did I miss some specific magic pixie dust somewhere?

Hi,
I know this requires a re-installation, but try selecting that card as the admin port and see what happens.

Also before you do a rebuild look through the logfiles for entries around the time you tried to configure the card. Post some of the entries here for review by the forum.

Well, I tried that and the same thing happened. So I forced the 'external' NIC into a UP state and Astaro recognised it and allowed me to use it.

Now I just have problems with DHCP not working (livelog shows no requests coming in) and SSL not being handled correctly - even in transparent mode.

Is there any way to re-run the wizard?
