Atoms are weak in the math processing department which is where the ips performance lies hence the slight loss in performance in terms of line speed. Intel is releasing some slightly faster Atoms..[:)]
I agree on the weak FP of the atom, BUT there is no part of a firewall that uses it anyway, so what's your point?
