7.503 restore to 7.501?

I updated to 7.503 and now my VPN users cannot remote into their desktops or access company databases. Tried performing a restore back to 7.501 and all it does is log me out of WebMin. Am I missing a step here? Thanks all.

  • Backup/Restore is for the Configuration, not the softtware version.  To go back to V7.502, you need to reload the software from a CD, then resore your configuration.

    Have you tried rebooting the Astaro?

    If you have Astaro Support, you can ask them to look at the VPN problem.  If you don't have support, please open a new thread in the VPN Forum.

  • If the VPN issue in question is using PPTP, try installing the 7.504 up2date that was released yesterday; I believe there's a fix in there for that.
