ASG 7.502 on VirtualBox 3.1.4

Hi,

I wanted to try ASG in my VirtualBox 3.1.4 setup (on openSUSE 11.2).
It was pretty hard already to reach the confirmation to proceed with the installation but at the latest here it stops by "Installation failed" w/o telling me what the problem is.

I've tried several different VM setups but never was able to pass that early error. If anyone got it running on VBox 3.1.x please share some of your settings.

    Press Alt-F1, Alt-F2 and Alt-F3 to get the different startup logs during the boot and installation.

    Ah, right. There is not much useful information I think:
    console 3 is showing some umount errors immediately after PHASE END hw_conf (ret=0) like that:
     umount: /dest//sys: No such file or directory
    ...
     umount: /dest//: Invalid argument

    console 4's last entry is the load of the cdrom kernel driver

    And that's it :-(

    I had the same problem.  After looking at the logs I found that I had made the virtual disk too small in virtual box.  Changed it from 8 gb to 12 gb and it worked ok.

    I had the same problem. Looked at the error log and I noticed I had made my virtual drive too small.  It need to be at least 10 Gigs.  Changed that and it installed ok after that.
