Hi all
I've just updated my firewall from 7.304 to 7.502, however something seems to have gone wrong in the process. Watching from my central syslog I see the ASL going through the various update and reboot cycles - which all seems fine.
However, at one point there seems to be some activity on the NICs followed by a 'modprobe' failure (details below). In other forums this appears to be a failure of the kernel to configure the NICs. From this point forward the machine boots but the NICs reset approx every 30 seconds. I can't seem to find anyway to break the loop. Any thoughts or am I back to the CD?
Many thanks
Paul
