astaro enterprise toolkit

Obviously I am lacking experience with astaro, and in fact never knew it existed until the other day. I am wanting to install the free home version of astaro on a dedicated extra computer and during install I was prompted to choose if I wanted to install the "Enterprise Toolkit". To my understanding - isn't it needed for the security features to work in their entirety? 

Then, the next question is - is the Enterprise toolkit not free? During install I was prompted to go to http://192.168.2.100.4444 and login. Obviously I could not do anything there as is required a password. Not to mention I was not given the heads up beforehand that I would need a password, so therefore I could not obtain one prior to install. So, assuming the enterprise toolkit is a charge-for item and I re-install and not install the toolkit will the astaro still provide any security? 

Since this setup is basically for a learning experience, I would not want to purchase a eula for the enterprise toolkit...

So, is it free? If so, what about the required password?

    I've been floating around Astaro a few months so I guess I'm still considered new as well. [:)]

    My understanding about the enterprise toolkit question is that it's there mainly because the Astaro contains some code that may not be compatible with the GPL (GNU Public License) and as such you're asked if you wish to install that portion. As a linux user at home I routinely run code that is considered "tainted" so for me it's not an issue.

    As for the password, after you've installed Astaro and your box has rebooted, when you visit the Management Interface (WebAdmin) for the first time Astaro should give you a screen to enter a password for admin.
