Checksum Failed: Install.tar

Hello,

I've downloaded the Business Essentials Free Edition ISO from 3 different computer, and have burned 5 different CD's ... I have also tried to install it on 2 different machines... all with the same exact result.

The installation fails on verifying checksums -- After it fails and tells me to restart the system I hit "ALT-F1" and view the install.log ... it tells me that the "install.tar" checksum verification failed, but the other 300 or so pass with flying colors.

Is there any solution to this? Is there a different mirror to download this file from besides the link that was emailed to me?

I'd love to try your software, but despite my best efforts ... I can't

Hi, if you haven't already, try a different CD-ROM drive.

Yep, I've tried 4 different computers now ... one was a full server rig ... all with different CDROM's.

I've downloaded the ISO from the site 5 different times from 5 different computers, and burned the file to multiple CD's all from different cd burners.

I've come to the conclusion that the ISO file has to be bad ... does anyone have a different mirror I can try to download from? Or would someone be willing to put up a verified working ISO for me to download?

Hi,
Did you check the md5sum of the ISO after you downloaded it?

If you're on linux, you can also check the md5sum of the burned cd.

Where would I find the checksum for the package so I can compare it?

The FTP site has .md5 checksum files for each ISO.
