Foxconn Barebone Mini-ITX (Intel Atom 230)

Hi,
I am planning to use this barebone for ASG v7.501.
(see Foxconn Barebone Mini-ITX: Amazon.de: Computer & Zubehör)

Does anybody know if the onboard NIC will work ?

Foxconn - Products: Barebones

Foxconn's site says it's a Realtek RTL8100C; it's not on the official HCL but several people here are apparently using them.

You'll need to add a PCI NIC as well; Astaro needs at least 2 NICs.

Let us know how it works out.

Hi,
the system arrived today and it works !

The internal NIC was detected as Foxconn Realtek 8139x.

I've added this additional NIC: Longshine LCS-8038TXR7-LP Low Profile NIC Fast 32 Bit: Amazon.de: Elektronik
It must be a "low profile" version.

Do you have any results regarding power consumption?
Which harddisk are you using?

Hi,
the harddisk is a Western Digital WD2500AAKS.

The system consumes ~ 38 W at
normal operation.
