Adding a Second NIC

I am considering buying the Acer AspireRevo mini PC for $200 to run ASG (Amazon.com: Acer AspireRevo AR1600-U910H Black/White Desktop PC (Windows XP Home): Computer & Accessories), but it only has one NIC. Would Astaro recognize a second NIC plugged in via USB? If so, are there any recommendations? If I'm going to spend $200 for a mini PC, are there other similar hardware options that already have two NICs?

Hi bhall7,
first thing is ASG doesn't recognise USB NICs, potential security hole.
There isn't an extra slot to add another PCI card and I could not tell what the onboard NIC is. you will need ot identify the onboard NIC and check the Astaro HCL.

Thanks for the info! Good to know about USB NICs and ASG. I found a Jetway JC300-B-J7F4K1G5S VIA NanoBGA2 VIA CN700 booksize barebone system on Newegg for $149. It needs RAM and a HD, but it has two NICs on the back. Does anyone have any experience with the VIA C-7 1.5 GHz and ASG performance?
