Invalid License file ???

Recently download the VM appliance. (Web Gateway)
Have it running on a ESXi 3.5 box. Single armed
Running on my home network that has 2 Windows servers, 2 ESXi servers, 2 Ubuntu boxes and 6 PCs.
Want to run the Web Gateway on the ESX box just like it is.
Went and requested the Home Edition download and then tried to upload the license file to the running Web Gateway.

Received "The License File is invalid"

Any help?

Are you sure you got the software version of ASG?

Bob,

I downloaded the VM appliance. I got an .OVF file and a VMDK file.

The box works GREAT, just need to get it licensed.

OK,, so the plot thickens.

Registered for myastaro, logged in and there was my license file.
Downloaded the file, (different file name than the one I received via email) and attempted to upload the license file. Initially the upload would just hang after hitting save. Rebooted the web gateway. Tried the upload again. This time the upload succeeded. Applied the license and,,,,

Information:
The uploaded license is invalid. OK

What's next. Complete re-install of the VM appliance?

The home license file is for ASG, not AWG.

You need the security gateway, not web gateway vm.

So I can't just run the Web gateway? I don't really need some fo the features inthe Security Gateway, I just want to protect the Web traffic.

You can just use the components of Web in the ASG.. nothing says you have to use all the additional features.. AWG is just a toned down version.
