7.501 Resource Usage (CPU)

All my 220's has been pegged since upgrade to 7.50. I tried upgrading to 7.501 with no help. It is affecting performance.

Madmike, have you upgraded the 220s to 1GB?

Can you run top at the command line of the Astaro and see what program is eating all those CPU cycles?

I have upgraded our ASG320 as well and experienced the same but after 30 Minutes the System is running normal as expected.

My 220's came with 1GB ram.

We have been experiencing an interesting CPU usage issue since 7.5.
It has been DNS-Resolver eating the CPU Cycles.
We ultimately have to restart the box to get it running again.
Has anyone noticed a similar behavior pattern???

Dan, have you tried disabling IPS temporarily to confirm that it's not related to that?  Maybe tomorrow afternoon after most folks have left since the CPU load isn't that high yet.  Could you run top and post the list of the top CPU cycle hogs?

I should have read your first post more closely as you already said that it wasa the DNS resolver!  Thaks for indulging my question about top.

What happens when you disable IPS?

What happens if you flush the resolver cache of the Astaro DNS Proxy?

I have also a load problem with ASG 220 7.501. Since the last update the load is always at 100%. I take a look with top, it is the postgres process, with ps aux exactly:
