DirecTv Vod port numbers

I have recently installed an Astaro server as the router on my network.  I love it.  I got the Xbox setup to function by opening the proper ports and DNAT.  

I'm having trouble getting the DirecTv DVR that I have working through the Astaro box.  I've configured ports 27171 and 27172 on the DVR, I think at least.  Am I missing something?  I see two external IP's connect to the DVR via that port in the Packet Filtering.  

Any help would be greatly appreciated.  I'm running 7.500.

    Hi, do you have packetfilter rules to match your DNAT?
    Did you check whether the services are tcp and/or udp?

    Unfortunately, it will be Sunday before I can work on this issue again.  I can try to use TCP/UDP to cover both bases.  Is there a way to look at my packet filter from the last couple of days?  If so, it still should be on the Astaro box.

    I did enable icmp through the firewall, so I think that last one is resolved.

    Ok, ICMP through Astaro is allowed.

    I added DNAT rules for 27171 & 27172 TCP/UDP, as well as PF rules to allow outbound traffic from 33437:33453 TCP/UDP as well as 8443.  I then used the RED reset button on the DVR.  Let's see what happens.  

    Astaro isn't showing anything that is being dropped from my DVR.  I use the Test Network Services portion of the menu system, and I get Contratulations Network Services is running successfully.  Getting VOD to work, who knows.  I'll set it to try and download a show tonight and let it bake overnight.

    The UDP entries are Traceroutes, I think.  I've enabled traceroute through the Astaro, deleted the PF rule to allow them, and am now awaiting the DVR reboot.  I'm  watching the PF Live Log to see if anything comes up on my DVR's IP address as Dropped.

    I tried this as well, but the FW starts dropping packets when it gets to the  VOD part. BTW, I had to add TCP/UDP 1701 to the service definition. Here are my DNAT and PF definitions:

    Hey guys, I'm on Direct TV too (but no VOD)... have you tried calling their customer support?  If you don't feel like working you way up through the tiers for phone support, try posting a generic firewall question on the forums.directv.com site... they often have techs wander through there, and there are some very knowledgable folks on there.
