Install Okay

I have installed Astaro home edition on one of my PC's and the install completed okay. When I boot the PC it boots up fine but I can't access the web admin my web browser keeps telling me that the server is taking too long to respond. I also can not ping the ip address of the Astaro box but during the install it detected both of my NIC's . Any insights, and help would be appreciated!

    Hi, login to the firewall as root, no password.

    Run 'ifconfig' and verify that the IP address and netmask are correct.

    unplug all ethernet cables except the internal, and run
    ethtool eth0
    and
    ethtool eth1
    and make sure the interface you configured as internal says that a link is connected.

    If all is OK so far, try pinging a PC in your LAN.

    It seems the problem was I was accessing it through another network device and when I connected directly to the box it was okay.
