I have a P4 but when I installed it, the case and CPU fans would switch off at the start of the install! I presume an APIC bug. So I had to install in Classic more.
What is the mane difference of Classic Mode? Do you then loose the benefit of hyper threading? Would I be much better of using other hardware that doesn't need classic mode?
