Active/Active Cluster

Hi everybody,

We recently purchase a licence for a ASG320 HA cluster (active/active mode) with two nodes. Currently, we have an ASG320 HA cluster (active/passive mode) with two nodes and we want to build an active/active cluster with this new licence.
But first, I have to know the features of an HA cluster in active/active mode.
Is this cluster build a "virtual" single ASG320 ?
Is it possible for a server with two NICs, which each NIC is connected to a diferent switch, and each switch to a diferent ASG320, which each ASG320 has its own WAN connection, to connect to Internet ?
Is it possible for this server to "see" an other server which only got a NIC connected to one of two ASG320 ?

Is this project possible ?
Is it an active/active cluster ? Is it possible to use the two nodes of this active/active cluster like a single ASG320 ? If It's not, What is the diference between an active/active cluster and an active passive cluster ?

    That's not the way an active/active configuration works (Astaro the word "cluster" for this.  Active/passive is called "Hot standby").

    You should read the excellent Cluster configuration guide avaiable on the Astaro KnowledgeBase.  Both ASGs must be connected to the same WANs and to the same internal infrastructure, because they do present a single image to the inside and outside world.

    It appears that you might want to consider aggregating (teaming) two Ethernet ports for the Internal interface, and then connecting each to both switches.
