HAL system daemon not running

Hi everydoby,

I'm a new french user of Astaro Security Gateway and I'm very happy with this great software.

Since I update to 7.500 I get ofter this alert email :

HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer) system daemon not running - restarted

--
System Uptime      : 0 days 0 hours 0 minutes
System Load        : 0.29
System Version     : Astaro Security Gateway Software 7.500

I currently use ASG in a virtual machine under ESXi 4 (virtual hardware version 7).

What does this email means ? Is it a problem or just an information ?

I just received the same message running ASG v7.504 on ESXi v4. The only changes I recently made were (1) adding an additional CPU to the virtual hardware and (2) enabling paravirtualization.

Any ideas?
