Question: If an Astaro appliance runs out of maintenance and subscriptions for other filtering services are not renewed, then under the menu tree Management | Licensing his license information continues to display that it does not expire (it shows "Expiration Date: Never"). At that point what can the owner of this appliance do with it? From what I see, he seems to be locked out (cannot login) and I find a paradox with this situation and his status of Expiration Date being "Never". This user wants to use the appliance as a VPN appliance, albeit with the Astaro software as of the date which the licensing expired. They have other Astaro appliances.
Can anyone shed some light on their entitlement?
