Installation of SSL VPN - Lenovo Notebok / Windows XP

I have a strange thing here:

Astaro V7
Lenovo T400 with XP downgrade

Installation of the software package from the user portal works, but in the context menu of the application (traffic light) only exit and proxy are available, no Connect / Disconnect.

Does anyone have an idea?

    Which version do you use ? Official V7 release or V7 beta ?
    Did you install it with administrative rights ?
    Can you find anything in the EventLog ? Any other VPN software installed ??

    We are using Astaro V7 Hardware Appliance, so it should be the  official release.

    Installation as a user who is a computer administrator.

    I checked the eventlogs and looked for Astaro, but could not find anything.

    The user uses the Windows VPN Software to connect to another remote site, but configured this after installation of the SSL VPN Software.

    check if there is a subfolder with specific connection in the "config" directory of the client install; if not, copy the folder from the installation package - remains the question why not copied on installation (may be opened the .zip in file manager and started setup - on some filemanagers there is no access to subfolders this way!)
    if yes, check if the subfolder holds all needed informations, esp. the .ovpn config file...
