Replacing Hard drive in ASG120

Hi all,

Can i use any 2.5" IDE Hard Drive to replace the failling HDD in my ASG120, i've tried a 80gb drive but when i tried to install the appliance software it failed at step 3.

Am i missing something ?

    Not sure what Step 3 is.  If the 120 is under warranty or support, Astaro should replace it for you for free.  I don't think you can load a hardware appliance image onto a drive that hasn't been prepped by Astaro, but you should be able to load the software appliance onto the drive.

    What do you mean by "prepped"? is there something special about the hard drive?
