6.314 ASG Home User License Maintenance Silver expires in ...

I started getting notified that Maintenance Silver and Spam Protection for an ASG 6.314 installation (Home User License) was going to expire in 28,21,14, etc days.

When I visited MyAstaro, License Management, I clicked on Renew on August 10th. I downloaded the new license that was generated and noted that in the license file it declares that AstaroUp2Date will no longer stop on August 24, 2009 but August 24, 2011.

But the license still shows that Spam Protection (I don't use ASG as my mail server so I won't miss that) and Maintenance Silver will expire by August 24, 2009.

So my question is : what will I miss out when the Maintenance Silver expires in 2 days?

    Hi, the home licenses have a Maintenance expiration, but it's irrelevant for home users; all that matters is the system and spam (and A/V if you have it) up2dates.

    BTW, 6.x isn't really being updated much anymore... would be a good idea to upgrade to 7.x
