VMware Tools Upgrade?

As we just upgraded to VSphere 4 mainly because of the enhanced network infrastructure scenarios... The question is now how do we get the astaro appliances upgraded to the new vmware tools, so that we can use more nic's or even more important the new network drivers?

It looks that the normal vmware tools upgrade procedures fail....

    Hi I Have now the same Problem. To update to vSphare it is nessesary to update the Tools first! So ASG now is the latest Guest that hav not updatet tu the newest VMtools. Did you fix it or have you found a work a round?
