Mini-PCI or Mini-PCI-express card supported?

Hi,

I was wondering. I have a motherboard with an Intel Atom, with 1 onboard 10/100 NIC, and a mini PCI-express slot, suitable to hold a Wifi or other NIC.
Does anybody know if Mini-PCI express slot NICs are supported?
If so, which ones do seem to work?

I wanted to use this machine as a temporarily firewall appliance to take with me on a holiday, to have filtering and a VPN-to-home, but I don't want to take a noisy server or appliance with me...

The NIC chipset is all that matters.
Intel tend to work best, but there is a long list at
http://www.astaro.com/lists/HCL-ASG-V7.txt

Astaro doesn't support WiFi NICs at all; you can use an ethernet NIC and setup a wifi DMZ though with a wifi AP (or router in AP mode).
