Astaro 220 VGA cable.

I am in need of 1 or more of the older Astaro 220 VGA cables, and I need to know where I can pick them up from.  I don't have a reseller, so if you are a reseller with them, just send me a PM and let me know what to do.

Thanks

  • I just googled: site:astaro.org "vga cable"

The second post found by Google was the one Barry remembered.  The link with the German vendor was for "XFX Low Profile Accessory Kit" which is also available in many different countries.

I just ordered one from newegg.com for $6.99 with free shipping.  I'll toss the brackets and probably still save money over making my own!

    Cheers - Bob
PS Check back here in a week to see if the cable actually works [:)]

  • I can report that the "XFX Low Profile Accessory Kit" does not work.  The header is too large to fit the connector at J15 on the 220 motherboard.

    Back to the drawing board...

PS I just ordered the materials from Futurlec.com for $8.85, shipping included, to make two half-meter cables each with a connector hood for the 15-pin D-connector.
