First off, I just began using the Home User license of Astaro yesterday and must say that so far I'm very impressed with how complete a package it is.
My question is this:
I have 9 devices that are behind the Astaro. While testing and seeing what all it could do yesterday I changed the IP scheme. I then received an e-mail that I was out of licenses late last night. Since Astaro records by IP (not physical address doh!) I am left with several devices that are blocked due to the new IP scheme.
After doing some searches in the forums I found a few solutions. The first solution is quite simple .... wait 7 days and the IPs that haven't been used will drop out of the DB. The second solution is to run this:
cc set licensing active_ips []
cc set licensing user_limit_exceeded 0
I assume the above is via either the terminal command line or similar (some help on this would be nice although admittedly I haven't read the entire admin guide yet).
I would rather not have to wait 7 days to use some of the devices that aren't in the DB. Would the above 'cc' commands work to solve this issue? Just confirming as I haven't had Astaro running for even 24 hrs yet and don't want to goof anything up.
