Hi,
after a misclick on the green-red UI element for the internal network that turns it off, I went to reinstall ASG 7.401 from CD. I thought when I could use the .abf file in a restore, I would be back up quicker than trying to hack the ASG installation to re-enable the internal interface.
Unfortunately I cannot use the backup file.
During the first logon, right after the initial installation, I was offered to upload a backup file. Doing that, I just received a message box stating that version 33 > 31.
I used the other option, and bypassed the configuration wizard.
In Management|Backup/Restore, there's an option to import a backup file. Using that, I receive the message "One of the values you entered is syntactically or logically incorrect."
The import only worked after running Up2Date on the system. Please, you MUST make sure that backup files work! We may not have the ability or the time to wait for an update in a situation where a restore is required!
