Dear all,
I am experiencing 100% CPU Load for several days on an ASG220 Active-Passive-Cluster:
Appliances: ASG220 Rev.0 (=ASG-OLD) + -ASG220 Rev.2 (=ASG-NEW)
SW Version: 7.402
History:
1.) getting a new ASG220 Rev.2 as a RMA Version 7.402
2.) Importing and manually completing Backup from still running ASG220 Rev.0 (offline off course, old ASG was on version 6.310)
3.) Shutting down running ASG220 ASG-OLD
4.) Running ASG220 Rev.2 (all worked fine) ASG-NEW
5.) Re-install ASG220 Rev.0 with external CDROM version 7.402 ASG-OLD
6.) Configuring HA Mode on ASG-NEW as master (still up and running)
7.) Configuring HA Mode on ASG-OLD as slave (still offline)
8.) Connecting and booting ASG-OLD
Both ASGs showed a CPU of 100%.
I assumed that this was due to sync load.
Functionality was given as desired with the exception of the webAdmin, that was very slow in reacting.
After 45 Minutes of waiting we tried a failover that worked (ASG-OLD now Master).
But we experienced that the CPU load still remained at 100% on both nodes.
2 days later the firewall functionality seemed not to work anymore.
Both Nodes were at 100% CPU.
Shutting down ASG-OLD solved the problem for the moment, ASG-NEW worked normally.
Booting the ASG-OLD one day later brought her in slave mode:

Then booting ASG-NEW (to test the failover to ASG-OLD) showed again a CPU load of 100%.
On the display of both appliances it showed only 2%
Currently we always have at least one appliance with 100% CPU load (showed in the WebAdmin - Administration - High Availability - System state
Are there any ideas what is wrong and how it could be corrected ?
Cheers
