ASG320 Harddrive failure

Hi I have a ASG 320 that has been running fine for almost two years.  We had a power outage and am now getting a "kernel panic" error on startup.  I have already tried to fsck all partitions etc.  Our support has expired, but we are willing to renew if we can get the proper software so we can get this thing back up ASAP.  I am downloading ASG ISO as I type in hopes that I can use that to reload the system.  Any suggestions/comments are welcome.

    If you have set the Astaro to send you configuration backup's on a regular basis, then chances are that downloading the ISO, installing on a fresh machine (anything on the HCL will do) and then restore the configuration will get you back online, provided that the version difference is not too big.

    If the license itself is expired then that could be a problem. But given your description this is not the case

    I would suggest that you contact your reseller to see about re-upping the license; a replacement HD for one of the ASG appliances has to come from Astaro directly, as they prep the drive for use in an appliance.  You could restore your configuration to a regular machine loaded with the software installation of Astaro, but the ASG320 license (expired or not) will not be accepted by any machine other than a 320.
