You can do this either way.  You have a lot to learn, so neither way will be easy.

Some problems, off the top of my head:

A. With the Linksys in front: Wireless devices will not go through the Astaro.  Devices plugged into the Linksys won't go through the Astaro.

B. With the Astaro in front: There will be more configuration needed to get your game machines working through the Astaro.  In this mode, the Linksys becomes only a wireless access point and a switch.

I agree that it seems like it would be easier to start with A: 'InternetLinksysAstaroPC'.  You will need another small switch between the PC and the Astaro, or an Ethernet cross-over cable.

Bob, thank you so so so so much. I know that maybe to some it might seem like I'm a pain with all my questions, so please guys, to everyone, please forgive me, truly, please. I'm trying here.

I'm feeling better so soon can start on the Astaro manual. 

I forgot that I don't see why not connect my linksys to lan on ASG then to switch for other computers. So it would be Astaro with 2 nics. WAN/LAN. Astaro lan to linksys to switch. I then just thought I can use the linksys wireless and then its own 4 ports, I don't need my other switch. Then I can connect wireless and wired. Then everything will go through Astaro. I forgot I can do that. I don't like need a nic only for linksys. I don't care about separating the networks anymore or anything. 

So this would be ok then right?
Astaro lan to linksys? The linksys would be no dhcp, no nat, give linksys its own static ip inside the linksys UI of say 192.168.1.2. Wireless n mode mixed so B,G and N can connect. The 4 ports on linksys will just go to the computers in the home. The wireless will be for my wii and macbook pro and when I need it, for my ps3 or xbox 360. I think this might be the easiest way right?

Modem - Astaro
Astaro 192.168.1.1 lan side
Astaro LAN to linksys lan port. 
Linksys inside its own ui will be no dhcp, no nat, linksys static ip 192.168.1.2
linksys wireless mixed for b, g and n
linksys wired connected to a couple computers.

Does this seem ok now? My only thing is having to maybe start astaro dhcp server range from say 192.168.1.3-192.168.1.50 or something. Or will astaro give linksys its own dhcp ip or am I confusing myself now? hehe. [:)]

OK, now that this decision is behind you, where do you want to start?

I connected the linksys to the Astaro lan port without having to change anything in Astaro or the linksys and it just works. Wireless get ips and I can still connect to the linksys at 192.168.1.2 and astaro at 192.168.1.1. 

And all my confusion and stuff, sheese, lol. If I would have in the beginning just remembered I could do this, lol. I just spaced it is all. Like Homer Simpson says, Doh! only for me a major Doh! [:)]
