ASG 120 Broken HD

Hi

I work for a company who has an ASG 120 that worked smoothly for 2 years

yesterday the HD broke and we have no more payed support

i opened it and replaced the hd with a new one same size same brand

downloaded the ASG v7 ISO for appliance and tried to install it after preinit check the installer says INSTALLATION FAILED

so i tried the V6 ISO with no luck... same error

i double checked RAM and HD and they are OK

i tried to install EFW 2.2 and i had no problem

anyone knows why i cant reinstall ASG?

You are between a rock and a hard place. Your hard disk hasn't been prepared by Astaro, so you only can use a software version, but that's incompatible with your license which is for ASG hardware. Your options would seem to be limited to paying for support or upgrading to the software version.

Wouldn't purchasing a hard drive from a 120 or a complete used 120 work?

Yes, your license is not compatible with the software version.
