I believe that 1364 is the minimum mtu. 1500 > 1364 so you should be ok.

google "xbox live ports" and find out which ports are necessary for xbox live. Then create packet filter rules for these services on the astaro. If you don't know how to do that go to Astaro Knowledgebase

This is the live packet filter log view. The .253 is my xbox and 3074 is xbox live port I guess.

Wooooo whooooooooo. I fixed it. I don't know much about ASG but it was actually quite easy to find where and how to create a rule to allow the port. Awesome! Thanks to Astaro for making ASG in some ways easy to figure out.

So now I need to stop all scanning for my xbox so I'll have to create a rule that says don't do any av scanning etc, which means I need to create a static ip for the xbox.

I'd like to suggest Astaro make a list available to show what is connected and we just click it and say make static. Easy.

Well crud. as soon as i load up a game to go online astaro kicks me off xbox live and the game won't play online. then when I quit the game xbox live is online again. I have no idea what is different about it.

Is there anyway to just say anything to and from anything works on my xbox ip and then all of this would work? I guess I can create xbox a static ip. Then make a rule that says no av scanning or anything on that ip and then if possible I could create an any to and from on the xbox. I might be able to figure this out once I get in and look. Fun fun fun, lol.

I now gave my xbox 360 a static ip and made a rule to say no web security on it. So now I'll look at making an any rule for it in the packet filter or something. I'm just guessing and trying here.

I actually created a PF any any rule to the xbox 360. I made a static ip and turned off the web security to the xbox too. Seems to be working so far. 

My only question is how come it's not using much bandwidth when playing online? I thought it use a lot more then a few k.

Need assistance with connecting Xbox to PC sharing out media player. Media Center works as well, but can not connect to media player pc. Help
