Installing Hardware Error...!

Hi,
Version 7 gives hardware error after selecting the language.
Why might that be? [:S]

Features:
3GHz Intel Core 2 Duo E8400.
2 GB of DDR2 RAM in 1666.
Mainboard ASUS P5QL.
40 GB IDE HDD.

Hi,
welcome.

Firstly what are and how many NICs (chipset) do you have?
Secondly have a look at your BIOS setup for the hard drive, check that it is set to IDE or SATA standard type interfaces.
