Installing New Updates

I've been managing 7 Astaro firewalls for some time now.  However, I have never performed an update.  Is there anything that I should do before performing the update (backup settings...).  Is performing the update as simple as pressing the "Update to the latest version now"?  I'm sure it is not that complicated, I just wanted to check on here before losing all my port forward settings and vlans.

    You should be using the backup features to email yourself a backup weekly or nightly.

    Yes, make a backup before doing an up2date, and make sure you have the installation CD handy incase something goes wrong (rare).

    Expect some downtime (5-15mins) during minor version updates.
