(Mini PC Alpha, AMD Geode LX800 500MHz) anyone using such a device?

Yeah, right now I'm using a dual NIC P4 Northwood 2.4GHZ system, so I'm researching different, lower power consumption options. I'm going to try the 7.5 beta :-D out

Keep in mind these mini-itx cases only support 2.5" hard drives.

the runnig system is installed on a 2.5" disk.
Sad but true the board is here but the case will arrive next week )-:
Some tests with a standard ATX-Power-suppluy failed because the system stops seconds after the start.
I think it's a problem of "jumpers and missing switches" but I ve no time for "hardware-hacks" in the moment.

System is up since 2 hours.
No problems while installing Astaro and restore the latest backup.

I've got the flepo miniPC alpha here, but it doesn't allow for the install of Astaro, is gives out the error that the CPU isn't compatible.

Any idea's?

Astaro needs a 686-compatible or better CPU.
(A Geode doesn't count)
